Internet down, now critical for most SME's
Is your connection to the Internet failing just at the wrong moment.
It's sods law, your in the middle of a big deal, expecting an important
presentation by email when down goes your ADSL line.
It may be coincidence but for a variety
of reasons, BT equipment problems, cooked routers, road works etc. a
number of our clients have lost their ADSL at very inconvenient moments recently. So what's the answer, everyone though ADSL was reliable.
Faster response from BT would be helpful, if only, well it is for an
extra £114 annual change there is now a BT guaranteed 4 hour response
available from some ISP's.
That does not mean they can fix it within 4 hours, and 4 hours can
be a long time, so there's an automatic ISDN backup to the ADSL line
option for around £959pa, plus a spare ISDN line. When the ISDN
takes over your incoming email will continue, as the IP address moves
over as well. Very tricky, so hat's off the the Mistral engineers for
getting this to work. The system can even e-mail us to indicate there
is a problem.
Give us a call if you need further advise, or to arrange installation.
