�Since starting our business six years ago we have seen it grow at a tremendous rate. It has always been our belief that to provide the most efficient and cost effective service we should make use of the best technology available. Whilst we spent a lot of time and effort ensuring that our equipment was the most up to date available we had always scrimped on IT support. We were dealing with local "one man band" type organizations and, as out business expanded we felt that they were just not keeping up with our requirements or helping us to plan for future development. The turning point came for us when we emailed a word document to one of our largest clients which contained the Melissa virus (which had got past our basic virus checking software). But for the strong relationship that we had with our client and more importantly, their firewall, this could have had disastrous results. At a meeting with the client shortly afterwards we got on to the subject of IT support and how unhappy we were with our current suppliers. They recommended that we speak to their people, IT Department as the service that they had received was excellent. At first we were reluctant to do so fearing that the costs would be prohibitive, but after our first meeting we were staggered by what we saw and heard. After a quick "Health check" of our equipment recommendations were made on what, if any, changes we should consider to get the best from our systems. From that first meeting we have experienced a level of service, which has continued to exceed our expectations. With IT Department we have found an efficient, prompt and courteous business partner who has taken a real interest in our business and who has strived to not only provide support when we need it, but also to guide us with the future development of our IT requirements. With regular visits to our site and preventative maintenance we have experienced only one major problem since taking our contract out, not a statement that we could have made previously! On that occasion the initial telephone support was not able to resolve the problem and a technician was on-site with us the very next morning to resolve the problem.� Mike Glanville
