| Poor quality software |

3rd June 2003
An unusually high number of IT managers are still reporting problems with poor quality software.
According to a recent survey of 450 European IT managers software quality is still not what we would expect. A staggering 76% reported problems with IT quality, everything from slow running (60%), to complete failure (36%). The French seem to have the most problems, reporting over 78% major faults at times. Maybe something gets lost in the translation from English (US) to French in more that just politics.
This would suggest the software industary still has some way to go with quality control.
